Prevesa 1874 (Amphilochia): Entire folded letter, dateline "Karvassara 3.Sept.1874", franked with 10sld 1867, tied with "PREVESA 20.9.74", sent to "Triest 25.9.74" datestamp on reverse. A scarce example of mail written elsewhere than where it was posted, and very fine
Prevesa 1875: 10sld envelope stationery 1870, canceled with "PREVESA 5.12.75, sent to "Wien 13.12.75" cds on reverse. These envelopes are rarely seen used, very fine, ink stains
Prevesa 1913: Cover franked with 1pi 1908, tied with oily "PREVESA Osterr. Post 17.3.13", sent to "Alexandria 24.III.13" cds on reverse. Scarce corner cover "Ambulant Hospital of the Egyptian Hellenism", during the Balkan Wars, fine

MACEDONIA: Cavalla 1859/1909: Great selection of seven items, as follows, 1. three covers with type 2 "CAVALLA" cds (two of them with "Franco"), 2. two items franked with soldi stamps/stationery with type 3 cds and 3. two picture postcards franked with para or centimes stamps, tied with large "CAVALLA Oesterreichische Post". Fine to superb condition
Salonica 1852: Entire folded letter marked with "SALONICH 2.Septembre" in two lines, sent to "Lyon 18.Sept.52", via Vienna (cds), transit marking "über BASEL" and French entry cds in red. Interesting accountancy markings, very fine
Salonica 1890: Return receipt of the Austrian Post, franked with a pair of 20pa/5kr (1890), scarce, reduced at top, foldings
Salonica 1836/1913: Interesting collection of 43 items with various postmarks of the Austrian I + II and Lloyd's P.O. many interesting items, i.e. forwarding agent notice, disinfected entire, various frankings, rates for registered or printed matter, many postal cards (including a 5sld in carmine!?) and lettercards
Salonica, Serres 1880, 1908: Three German "Antwort" reply postal cards returned to Hamburg with Austrian "SALONICCO" (1880), "SALONICCO" +"SERRES" (Ottoman) and "SALONICH I" (1908), scarce, properly posted mail between philatelists
Serres 1840, 1854: Two entire folded letters as follows, 1. "SERRES" straightline without date (type 1), on disinfected letter to "Triest 8.Jul.1840", 2. "SERRES Ago.29" in two lines (type 2) on letter sent to Syros via "SALONICH 30.Août" datestamp. Scarce to collect
THESSALY: Volo 1861, 1864: Two entire folded letters handstamped with stunning "VOLO 24/7" & "26/10" cds in blue, sent to "Vienna" datestamps, showing manuscript accountancy markings, scarce and very fine
Volo 1877: Entire folded letter franked with 10sld 1876, tied with "VOLO 21/11" cds, sent to "Triest 4/12.77" datestamp, stain, otherwise very fine and scarce
Volo 1878: Cover only of folded letter franked with pair of 5sld 1867, tied with "VOLO 5/4" cds, sent to "GALATI 18.Apr.78" cds Romania, via "Constantinopoli Lloyd" & "Constantinopel" Austrian cds, very fine and scarce destination
THRACE: Dedeagatch 1880: 10pf German "Antwort" reply postal card returned to Hamburg with "DEDE-AGATSCH 16.10.80" cds, properly posted mail between philatelists, very scarce and great strike
Dedeagatch 1909, 1913: Two envelopes with the two last "DEDEAGATSCH" cds, properly posted to USA and Germany, scarce material and very fine
ALBANIA: Santi Quaranta 1906/15: Group of 10 items, including items during the period of Autonomous Epirus (x4) and the period of the provisional Annexation to Greece (x1). Some very interesting items, i.e. four registered covers and a Greek postal card with an Austrian stamp affixed and tied with "SANTI QUARANTA c Oesterr. Post 3.II.1915", very interesting lot in fine to superb condition
LEBANON: Beyrouth 1892, 1900: Two large registered covers franked with 7x1pi 1892 or 6x1pi 1900 sent to Hamburg, scarce rates, with small imperfections
1888/1911, Group of 13 items from "SAMSUN" (2 registered envelopes and 1 postal card), "SMYRNA" (4 envelopes, one being registered and 2 postal cards) & "CONSTANTINOPEL I or III (two registered envelopes, one postal card and one wrapper to Crete), interesting lot
1860s/1910s, Collection of postmarks, hundreds of stamps with various types of cancels with strong emphasis on Crete that includes blocks, Epirus with "PREVESA" and "JANINA," Samos and Chios, but also including Albania & other offices. Noticed some "VOLOS," a partial "LEROS," a couple "LARNACA DI CIPRO," among many others; stock cards and glassines full of wonderful stamps with great cancel types to list here. Overall, stamp quality is high, but this is a postmark collection so some stamp faults should be expected. Very high catalogue, excellent for study
