Deutsche Südpost-Expedition 1901-03: 1902, „Deutsche Südpol-Exped. Kerguelen.Inseln Royal-Sound 9.NOV.1901“, violetter L3 klar auf entsprechender Expeditions-Ansichtskarte mit Germania 10 Pfg. und übergehendem Schiffspoststempel „DSP AUSTRALISCHE HAUPTLINIE 10.1.02“ sowie nebengesetztem L3 „Deutsche Südpolar-Expedition Kerguelen-Station“ und rückseitigem Text von Josef Enzensperger nach Sonsthofen mit Ankunftsstempel und Nachsendung. Marke fehlerhaft, die Karte ist sonst in guter Erhaltung. Sehr seltene Karte mit beiden Expedititonsstempeln. Der Meteorologe und Bergsteiger Josef Enzensperger überwinterte 1902/03 auf der Kerguelen-Station und verstarb am 2. Februar 1903 an einer Vitaminmangel-Erkrankung.
