Steamer" with blue straight-line "TEUTONIA" added by the purser, reverse of "SHIP-LETTER C LONDON AP 19 73", upon arrival charged "17" thus postage due "50c. and pair of 60c. applied and tied by cds., some minor ageing, otherwise fine and scarce as letters carried by German ships before 1895 from Venezuela are very infrequent, especially combared to those carried by French and British packets, signed Sorani with certificate

1859, Coat of arms 1r. blue, fine printing, fresh colour and mostly good to large margins, each with central "0" in black on folded letter to Genoa, paying the single weight not exceeding ½ ounce as stipulated for carriage between Venezuela and St. Thomas, accountancy marking "G.B. 1F60C" alongside, upon arrival charged "20" decimes, a beatiful and a very rare cover with only few of these frankings recorded on transatlantic covers, certificate Moorhouse (2017)
