Antilles 1 r. yellow-green, a slightly creased horizontal pair, cancelled by complete strike of the special 'boxed parilla' handstamp in black, a rare multiple, signed Todd AIEP (Edifil-no. 8)

1861, 1/2 r. black on brown QUERETARO, the complete sheet of 60 subjects, Plate III, with large margins all around, top sheet margin folded down at top for Exhibit display, of bright fresh colour and full o.g.; slight creases between fourth and fifth rows and vertically through centre; natural paper fold in seventh row; however an outstandig Exhibit item of great rarity for the specialist. Just 83 stamps from this cogsignment were returned to Mexico City Post Office in 1864 when the new Eagle issue was invoiced, signed C.J.Phillips (Stanley Gibbons), ex collection Maurice·Burrus, Jaretzky certificate (Scott-no.6)

1868, 25 c. blue CHIAPAS (thin figures, 28-68 with blue District overprint), used on February 1869 cover to Oaxaca, tied by bold strike of 'Tuxtla' handstamp in blue (Schatzkes 132, unrecorded on this issue); a scarce cover, signed J.K.Bash and Jaretzky (Scott-no. 48)

25 c. blue TOLUCA (thick figures, 16-70), no stop after '25', a marginal example from left of sheet, tied to cover to Mexico City by two line 'Franco En El/Oro De Mexico' handstamp in black (Schatzkes unlisted); a scarce usage from a difficult District, signed J.K.Bash (Scott-no. 61a)
