Intermediate impression: 1 d. dull vermilion, used, good to wide margins, but small repairs, still attractive, signed Alcuri and Holcombe

Worn impression: 1 d. red on bluish, block of four, pos. 1-2/4-5 with good to wide margins, cancelled by boxed "FREE", the top pair with additional barred oval; the lower right stamp small thin on reverse and top pair with crease (most likely fixed around edge of cover); despite the mentioned faults a rare block, ex Dale-Lichtenstein, certificate H. Richter

Latest impression: 1 d. red, tied by cds. "GPO MAURITIUS DE 6 1859" to small piece, repaired at top, still attractive and scarce, certificate RPS

1859, Sherwin 2 d. deep blue, used with barred oval, somewhat touched and lower right corner repaired, still attractive, a rare stamp, certificate RPS (SG £ 4.750,-)

Dardenne 2 d. pale blue, good margins all round, cancelled by clear central "PAID", very fine
