1852: 5 centesemi black on green with stop after '5', a fine used horizontal pair with ample to large margins all round, left hand stamp showing variety 'space between 'N' and 'T' in 'CENT'; cancelled by manuscript pen stroke and by barred obliterator leaving the variety clear. Scarce positional multiple. 1852: 4 bajocchi, a fine diagonally bisected example used on reverse of 1859 entitre letter from Bologna to Cento tied by eight barred grill handstamp in black. Observe with 'Bologna' despatch cds (July 8) in black and annotated '2' baj. on front in manuscript. A rare usage during the Provisional Government period of Romagna. Signed E. Diena, Raybaudi.
