1819, Prepaid entire double rate letter from "KIRKCUDBRIGHT", Scotland to Madeira, charged with a total of 5/8½ d. incl. ½ d. Scottish turnpike charge; according to opinion Wijnants AIEP the only recorded letter with this rate up to date (2016)
1839, May 7, London Two Penny Post entire from Bow Lane to Holborn, rated ‚2‘ at ‚T.P. Queens St. C.S.‘ receiving office, annulated by zig zag handstamp and rated ‚4‘ (very rare handstamp in black ink). GBPS members commented when shown in an exhibit at the GBCWPS meeting in Paderborn 2016: ‚a rarity‘ and ‚never seen before‘.

A rarely seen domestic use of the 1862, 3d. adhesive paying part of the 4d. registered fee., (Mi 16+17+18)
1862, 9d. straw, plate 2, RG, and 1858, 2d. blue, plate 9, DE, tied by ‚W-21 / LONDON-W AP 25 64 duplex cancellation to entire routed via France & Italy to the Vatican, Rome, with arrival marking ‚ROMA – VIA DI MARE 2 MAG 64‘ on reverse, a very rare letter to the Vatican! The sender of the letter was Nicholas Cardinal Wiseman (1802-1865), Archbishop of Westminster writing to George Talbot (1816-1886) an English curial official who had served as private secretary to Pope Pius IX., (Mi 21 + 17)
1862/64, 1 sh. green, plate no. 1, tied by New York sunburst kork cancel with adjacent "NEW YORK MAY 20 1863" to embossed commercial letter "ST. NICHOLAS HOTEL BROADWAY NEW YORK" to Canada with Motreal transit mark; the envelope with corner faults and crease at right not effecting the stamp, otherwise fine; a very unusual and rare use of a British stamp on the US, apparently fully accepted
1873, 1 sh. green, plate 12, tied by duplex "PORTSMOUTH MR 16 78" to envelope to "Captain Laurenson, care of the British Consul, Callao, Peru" re-directed to Eten, franked on reverse with 1874 postage due 10 c. orange, tied by cork cancel (slight corner fault); a fine and scarce combination cover, certificate Louis BPP (2007)
1882/1904, Board of Trade, ½d. green as vertical pair with perfin "CROWN BT" tied by cancel "LONDON 1904" to wrapper to Ghent, scarce, one stamp affixed over the edge, otherwise fine ex Waelbroeck
