1851, Britannica 1d. red-brown, fresh colour tied by numeral "1" to folded lettersheet via London and Calais to Naples with red oval "A FRANCA" and "P-D." and manuscript markings "3'6" in London with 1s8d. to London and 1s.10d. for foreign transit, adhesive and letter with small imperfection, a very attractive and rare cover  

1879/1882, 1d rose-carmine (2, one diagonally bisected), used with 1/2d lilac and May 1882 "1d" in manuscript on 6d bright yellow-green (4 examples) all slightly affected by ink run, tied to 1882 registered cover at 6d rate to England. Back flap removed  Ex Burrus

TRINIDAD: 1882, Provisional 1 d. on 6 d. green, horizontal block of 8 and 4 single stamps, tied by cds. "TRINIDAD JA 7 84" to envelope to Edinburgh with arrival mark, perforation at right with slight faults, otherwise fine
