1862/65, 4d. orange, with small resp. large white corner letters, on two covers to Tunis resp. Palermo, the earlier with taxation "2 3/4" in red crayon, the latter with red boxed "P.D. 2 3/4", some faults, especially the cover with boxed PD, but an interesting duo

1872, folded letter from "MALTA JY 19 72" via Italy, with red boxed "P.D. 2 3/4", there the value crossed out and another "P.D. 4 3/4" boxed handstamp applied next to it alongside, to Limbach, Saxony, vertical filing fold, a fine and scarce letter showing the "4 3/4" handstamp at the earliest date recorded
