India QV 1/2 anna blue postal stationery envelope franked with Jammu & Kashmir 1/2 anna black on laid paper (SG value £680)
1880-94 1/4 anna, 1/2 anna, 1 anna & 2 annas all four denominations on both white wove paper and toned wove paper in complete sheets of 15 or 20. A total of 8 sheets
Decorative envelope believed to be intended for delivery of Greetings Telegrams, the panels appear to contain felicitous quotations, possibly from the Quran
Local cover franked on reverse with 1946 1a pale yellow-green perf 8½ tied by a large double ring native cds in violet, certificate ISES 2021 (SG value £1400)
India QV ¼a postcard from Jhalawar to Bundi additionally franked with 1886-90 1p yellow-green tied by a superb strike of Jhalawar intaglio seal cancel, the postcard cancelled by "JHALRAPATAN-CITY / JHALAWAR / DE 27 98" Imperial exchange postoffice cancel with "BUNDI / DE 28 98" delivery cds. Trivial corner damage to postcard (SG value £720)
1890 1/4 anna green part imperf sheet of six with error, printed on horizontally laid paper. These stamps were printed on vertically laid paper.
1890 1/4a green pair on vertical laid paper on cover tied by intaglio seal cancel. Double weight covers of Jhalawar are scarce.
1890 1/4a green on horizontal laid paper strip of 5 + single on registered cover. These stamps were normally printed on vertically laid paper.
1874 1/2a blue on native cover. Covers bearing stamps of Jind are extremely rare. RPSL certificate.
Local cover (with faults but not affecting stamps) franked with 1882-85 ½a brown-buff imperf on thin yellowish wove paper x 2 making up the 1a rate for ordinary letters tied by two native heart shaped cancel. According to SG "The stamps of Jind are very rare on cover".
1885 1 anna brown-purple overprinted "JHIND STATE" reading downwards. This is not the normal inverted overprint but instead from a much rarer Trial printing. Ex. Ulrich. BPA certificate
