Plate Proof of the Perkins Bacon 1a in chocolate in an imperf block of 12 impressions on thin wove paper with manuscript annotation "V. Mahogany Lake (Bhopal)".

½ a postal stationery envelope sent by registered post with boxed Jaipur registration strike on front additionally franked on reverse with 1922  1 a carmine single and a horizontal pair with error imperf between all tied by multiple strikes of "15 MAY 26" cds with "28 MAY 26" delivery cds on front & reverse. Believed to be the only known example of this error on cover, certificate ISES 2021 (SG value £7600)
