1818/19, the 2 official announcements for the Cavallini sets, light folds, still fine

1819, 'Cavallini' in blue, 15 c., 25 c. and 50 c. double sheets, all with nice clear strikes , all used in 1819 and all without usual filing fold. A remarkable and rare set in this condition.

1820, 'Cavallini' embossed, 15 c., 25 c. and 50 c. double sheets, all used in 1820, 50 c. with light usual filing crease and 15 c. with light pressed crease, 25 c. without crease at all. A rare set .

1850/66, 8 official postal announcements, one with added stamp 20 c. overprinted "SAGGIO"

1851, 5 c. black, clear at bottom right, otherwise nice full margins, unused with full fresh original gum. A rare stamp in this condition. Signed Schlesinger, Georg Bühler and Enzo Diena with certificate (1992)

A very fine copy of this rare stamp, of which only one sheet with original gum  has been recorded (but which is common without gum). Signed Enzo Diena and certificates R. 1861, numeral 1 c. with embossed "2", also complete set and 1 c. in block of 15, all with original gum, some unmounted mint. The variety signed A. Diena.

SARDINIA – INDIA : 1857, entire letter from Turin to Calcutta, part paid till Alexandria, franked with 1855/63, 40 c. vermilon (2) and 20 c. blue, all with good margins, tied by cds. "TORINO 15 GIU 57". At Alexandria charged with 1 shilling for the conveyance to India, with corresponding "CALCUTTA STEAM LETTER 1857 JUL 31 / Steamer B(earin)g Indian Ds. 8" on reverse. A fine and rare letter.
