1942 1 anna deep myrtle-green perf 10½ postally used tied to ration slip. Sugar ration application slips were required to be franked with postage stamp and mailed in. The 1 anna stamp paid for postage while the sometimes accompanying 1 anna pink revenue stamp paid for the application fee (SG value £3200)

1942/47, 1 a. green, perf 10½, tied by "SEP 2 1948" straight line cancel in purple to reverse of 1948 cover, certificate ISES 2021 (SG value £1050)

1946 1a. pale yellow-green, perf 8½, tied by a large double ring native cds in violet to reverse of local cover. Certificate ISES 2021 (SG value £1400)

Stampless native cover with native circular intaglio seal in violet to indicate that postage had been pre-paid. Normally found in black, this is the only known example of the cancel in violet.

1885,  2 annas with error overprint inverted, toned, certificate RPS (1979) (SG value £1300)

1882/85, ½a lemon on thin yellowish wove paper, imperf., tied by native heart shaped cancel to reverse of India QV ½a postal stationery envelope from Jind to Bombay, with delivery cds on reverse, very rare used on cover". ISES certificate

1882/85,  ½a brown-buff , imperf., on thin yellowish wove paper, 2 copies, used on local cover (with faults but not affecting stamps), tied by two native heart shaped cancel. 

1899/1900, pin perf., 2 a. dull orange on laid paper, block of four, fiscally used on piece

1904-10  Proof of the 2a in blue (color of the 1 anna) imperf strip of three on the same paper as the issued stamps.

1913-16  1R mauve imperf pair with error stamps printed double. This is not listed in SG and possibly the only surviving pair from the unique imperforate sheet that was printed double. The imperf pair catalogues £450. ISES certificate

1913/16, 5 r., Plate Proof in black on cream wove paper, right marginal horizontal pair, right stamp with pin-hole.

1947, 1a red-orange, imperf block of four, tied by "KISHANGARH / RAJ POST / 12 MAR 47" cds to reverse of cover (reduced on right) 

1943/47, thick soft unsurfaced wove paper, 1a carmine-red single, 1a carmine-red horizontal imperf. pair and 2a maroon horizontal imperf. pair, all tied by four strikes of "KISHANGARH STATE POST / 9 JLY 48" cds to 1948 folded Notice cover, certificate ISES 2021 (SG value £946)

1887, 2 paisa green on yellow, used on cover with Kotah delivery cds., dated 3 March 1887. This is one of only eight recorded covers of Kotah bearing the 2 paisa green on yellow stamp,  certificate ISES 2021.

India 1/4 anna postcard overprinted "NABHA STATE" and "SERVICE" with error, Coat-of-Arms inverted.  

1893 Die Proof of the ½a, 1a and 2a on thin wove paper. Central stamp with vertical crease and upper right corner torn and fixed with hinge.  Unique.

1893-94 1a intense red on vertically laid paper with wavy lines on three sides very fine and sharp printing indicative of an early Proof impression, the issued color being rose. Most attractive and most certainly unique.

1914-35  1a bottom right marginal copy with error of color, printed in yellow-orange (color of the 4 annas) instead of scarlet.

1935, 1a myrtle-green & purple-brown, imperf., and 4a deep reddish purple & sage-green, tied by "BALDEOGURH / ORCHA STATE / 23 JL 38" to reverse of registered cover from Baldeogurh to Tikamgarh with boxed registration strike on obverse and with "TIKAMGARH / ORCHA STATE / 24 JL 38" delivery cds., BPA certificate 

1939-42,  Complete set to 10 rupees (SG value £2160)

1939, ½ a. yellow-green, 3/4a bright blue, 1¼ a blue and 1 ½a mauve, tied by "O" in circle of bars to registered cover from Tikamgurh to Satara with "TIKAMGURH / Orchha STATE / 26 SE 46" squared circle cds and "SATARA / Orchha STATE 27 SE 46" delivery cds on reverse. A spectacular four color franking of Orchha State, the only one we are aware of, certificate ISES 2021 

1939/42,  ¾a bright blue, block of four, and 2 a. vermillion, tied by "O" in small oval of horizontal bars to registered cover with boxed registration strike on front 

1939, 1 a. scarlet, block of four and single, tied by "O" in circle of bars cancel to 1949, registered cover from Palera to Tikamgarh with "PALERA / ORCHA STATE / 2 OC 49" cds and "TIKAMGARH / ORCHA STATE / 2 OC 49" delivery cds. An extremely late usage in 1949; quite possibly the latest known usage of Orcha stamps.  Orcha became part of Vidhya Pradesh by 1 May 1948

1939, 1a scarlet and 3a slate-violet, tied by "O" in circle of bars to registered cover from Degorah to Tikamgarh with "DEGORAH / ORCHA STATE / B.O. / 18 AU 42" dispatch cds and "TIKAMGARH / ORCHA STATE / 19 AU 42" delivery cds on reverse 

Pre-stamp native cover with enclosure from Patiala to Ludhiana franked with native Patiala intaglio seal (Frank) with Rajpoora transit cds and Loodianna delivery cds on reverse. Less than six covers are known bearing  Patiala intaglio Frank. 

1884 India QV 1/4 anna + 1/4 anna message + reply postcard with only 24 holes instead of the normal 28 holes. According to Deschl "The perforated reply postcard has two types of perforations, #C2 has 28 holes over 120 mm and #C2a has 24 holes over 120 mm. One copy of #C2a recorded" . Deschl also records the error in spelling "PUTTIALIA" instead of "PUTTIALLA" as the C2b. This postcard has both errors listed as C2a & C2b (24 holes and spelling error on reply portion) which most certainly makes this a unique example and perhaps the greatest rarity of Patiala postal stationery.
