1850, Plate I, 1 p. reddish rose and 2p blue, plate I, retouched, both with large margins, tied by oval grids with adjacent red "PAID SHIP LETTER/SYDNEY/AP*19/1850" to letter sheet to Wellington, New Zealand, with frontside arrival mark of May 4th 1850. "4" d. incoming ship letter fee charged to the receipient. 2 d. with inconspicuous closed tear at upper left, otherwise very fine and rare. (Census 50/94)

Plate II, worn impression, 2 d. dull blue, good to large margins, tied to small envelope with adjacent "MIDDAY MAIL" 1850 to Raymond Terrace and re-directed to Newcastle. A scarce usage of the "MIDDAY MAIL" handstamp during the stamp period.

Plate II ,2 d. dull blue, retouched, good to large margins, tied by numeral "94" to letter sheet from "EDEN SE 23 1850" to Sydney. Very fine.

Plate III, 2 d. ultramarine, good to large margins, tied to entire letter from  Edinburgh, Scotland,  with clear "PAID AT EDINB. JUN 3 1850" to Sydney, here franked and forwarded to Carcoar. Very fine. A very rare and attractive incoming letter. (Census 50/259)

Plate III , 2 d. ultramarine, good to large margins with ca. 5mm sheet margin at top, tied numeral ”33“to small envelope with despatch mark "MARULANFE 7 1851" on reverse. Some minor staining, still fine and attractive.

 Plate IV, 2 d. ultramarine, horizontal strip of three, central stamp "No Waves" variety, large margins all round, tied to double rate cover front with one backflap,  endorsed "per Ship Duke of Wellington", to Birmingham with arrival marks of 25.9.1851. A fine and scarce strip on entire.

Plate IV, vertically laid paper, 2 d. ultramarine, worn state, position 21 and 23, both with large margins, tied by crisp strikes of ”48“ numeral to double rate entire letter from ""TARCUTTA MY 2 1851" to Sydney, very fine.

Soft wove paper, 3 d. myrtle green, nice typical fresh shade, large even margins, tied to entire letter with adjacent red "PAID SHIP LETTER SYDNEY AP 19 1852" and endorsed "per Johnstone“ ,to London. Very fine. An exceptional and very rare entire. Certificate BPA(1999)

Greyish wove paper, 3 d. yellow green, good to large margins and fresh vivid colour, tied to lettersheet with adjacent boxed "QUEEN'S WHARF" and red "SYDNEY DE 19 1850" to London, endorsed "per Seringapatam“, London arrival cds. of May 19th. Bluish wove paper, 3 d. emerald-green with clear impression, large margins, tied by numeral obliterator "55" to letter sheet with adjacent extremely rare 'NEWCASTLE / N.S.W. / P.OFFICE' negative intaglio seal handstamp, to Sydney with arrival mark of  3.1.1852. Very fine and rare entire. Certificate BPA (2001)

Bluish wove paper, 3 d. emerald green , in combination with 1851, laureate 2 d. ultramarine, both with good to large margins, tied by "36" in bars of Braidwood, to envelope via Sydney to England with "Sydney ship Ietter" and "Plymouth ship Ietter" on reverse. The franking paying the 5 d. rate (2 d. to Sydney + 3 d. ship ietter rate). A rare mixed issues-cover. Certificate RPSL (1948) and Holcombe (1988)

1851/52, Laureate 1 d. vermilion on bluish paper, horizontal pair with clear to mostly large margins, tied by numeral "55" to envelope from "RAYMOND TERRACE OC 12 1853" to Sydney.

1854, 2 d. ultramarine, wm "2", Pl. III, horizontal strip of five, left stamp with variety 'WALES partly covered by wavy lines', full to large margins, used, very fine (natural paper wrinkle in central stamp)
