CAMP SAHARUNPOOR: 1828, Folded entire letter to London, redirected to Inverness, written from Camp Saharunpoor, reverse framed "CALCUTTA G.P.O. SHIP LETTER 6 NO 1828" and "1 / 2", British cds. and entry mark "INDIA LETTER PLYMOUTH"; cover with interesting text refering to trade with Afghanistan and Kabul, fine, scarce

"CHANDERNAGORE": partial strike on folded entire letter to Calcutta (Giles 1), with adjacent "AM", dated inside "April 13th / 30", postmark partly previously redrawn, still fine, rare mail from that French settlement

"GOONAH": excellent strike on reverse of an envelope to Hants, England, with various transit and arrival cds. "LONDON JU-16 58" adjacent, on front boxed "INDIA UNPAID" (two types), fine and very rare cancellation, unrecorded by Giles

"MIRZAPORE": fair strike of a three-line "MIZAPORE BEARING " (unrecorded by Giles) on reverse of a folded entire letter to Cawnpore, dated inside 1848, endorsed "to await arrival" on front, reverse arrival framed "CAWNPORE BEARING" (Giles-Nr. 13), entire with an intact and exquisite small silver seal; fine and rare combination
