The Status of this setting is unknown, also the "R" is from the original type used in Setting 5, detailed description see Robert M. Gibbs page 42-43, signed Holcombe wit certificate (1990)

2d. on 10pfg. with variety "1 for I", fresh color and good perforation, used with Gibbs type 4 "Simpsonhafen (Deutsch Neu-Guinea", slightly soiled, interesting item, possible printed from the postal stationery setting, signed Holcombe and certificate BPA (1974)

1d. on 5 pfg. with overprint variety "G.I.R. instead of G.R.I.", fresh color and good and perforation, tied by clear oval "RABAUL JAN 20 1915" to small piece, a very fine and attractive example of this rarity with a total of only 5 known, signed with certificate Holcombe (1993)

10 pfg. with overprint error "G.I.R d3" instead of "G.R.I. 1d", fresh color, good perforation and centering, unused, slightly toned at upper third, unused, a very fine and striking variety, extremely rare with no other copy registered, signed Champion a.o. and certificate PF (1995)
