1882/90, Victoria 1 s. pale-violet, fresh color and good perforation, tied by barred “A09” obliterator with adjacent cds. “NEVIS AU 26 90” to registered OHMS envelope via London with red oval “REGISTERED LONDON 11 SP 90” to Dresden with arrival mark “DRESDEN-PLAUEN 12/9 90”, file folds, but an immensely rare usage of this stamp on commercial letter, certificate RPSL (2023)

1840, folded letter dated “Sapapalii, Island of Savaii Samoa 3rd April 1840” sent from Charles Hardie to the Treasury of the London Missionary Society in London, with adjacent red crowned “PAID SHIP LETTER JU 16 1840 SYDNEY” and manuscript rate 8", straight-line “SHIP LETTER” in reverse, a fine and scarce early entire

1886/1900, 1/2d, 1d., and 4d. singles, tied to cover from the Consulate General of the United States of America by Apia c.d.s. (Type 3, date inverted), to A. Albrecht in Cleveland, Ohio, with San Francisco (Dec 25) and Cleveland (Dec 29) c.d.s. backstamps, the odd trivial toned perf and small tear to back mentioned for strict accuracy, else an attractive and scarce three-colour franking; ex Guy Hamilton. (Odenweller Census #326).

MARINE P.O. R.M.S. ”ALAMADA 30 NOV 98" and arrival mark on reverse, slightly toned, minor imperfections, a scarce and attractive cover

1914, 6d. on 50 pfg. as top marginal horizontal strip of three, the center stamp with double surcharge, tied by cds. “APIA 12.9.14” to small piece, the outer stamp with corner fault, the center stamp in fine condition, a scarce and attractive multiple

1941-8, 1-1/2d. blue-grey & yellow-buff, horizontal pair, watermark sideways,  overprinted “OFFICIAL / OFFISIEEL” horizontally, never hinged, fresh colour and well-centered, a fine and scarce variety; with photocopy of 2004 RPSL certificate.

“Gdeopend onder Krijgswet. (P.no.30.)” Boer censor seal on rose paper (Type 3), on a franked mourning envelope from “BULTFONTEIN AP 13 (1900)” to Green Point in Cape Colony with reverse transit cds. “JOHANNESBURG APR.-00”, thereafter two additional British paper seals applied (Type 2 A+B) and violet circular “PRISONER OF WAR  CENSOR” possibly applied as arrival, one adhesive slightly defective, still very fine. A quite spectacular and rare combination of both Boer and British seals, with a three Pence Orange Free State franking still accepted for postage

“Gdeopend onder Krijgswet. (P.no.30.)” censor seal on rose paper (Type 3), closing a franked envelope from “SMALDEEL JAN 9 (1900)” to Lourenco Marquez with reverse arrival cds., fine. Rare usage from the Smaaldel Station during the early part of the conflict
