1768/1935 (ca.), French Maritime Post, fine collection with circa 90 covers and cards, encompassing many sea and ocean routes, noted Mediteranean, South Atlantic, Indian Ocean and Pacific French lines, many interesting usages and better postmarks, starting with a group of Piroscafi Mercantili Estero, “FRANCA VIA DI MARE” and “ESTRANGERO BARCELONA”, the collection unfolds with a selection of the “LIGNE” postmarks “W”, “X”, “V”, “J”, etc., also some fine entry marks, a good range of Paquebot cancellations, some better items with scarce blue octogonal “LOANGO A BORDEAUX 14 NARS 94 L.L.N°2”, “COR.D.ARM. 1794/1801, group of five entires including a scarce red cds. “COMITÉ DE SALUT PUBLIC” on official mail sent by the revolutionary committee during the French Reign of Terror lead by Robespierre, also two-line italic “Conseil des Cinq-Cens.” and three “Consuls de la République” two-line and three-line red handstamps, mostly fine, a scarce assembly
1812/1996, Town Cancels of Jersey collection, comprising over 350 covers, picture postcards, postal receipts, and more, well-presented and written-up on pages in two large volumes, with representation from roughly 40 post offices, including many smaller ones, with Augres, Beresford St, Carrefour Selous, Cheapside, David Place, First Tower, Havre des Pas, Ponac, Rouge Bouillon, St. Mary, Stopford Road, and many more, note “Jersey Penny Post” handstamps on 1830 folded letter from Gorey and 1839 folded letter from St. Clement, 1852 blue Millbrook double split-ring cover, 1857 St. Martin's double split-ring cover,1893 cover with La Rocque c.d.s, much from the reigns of King George V and VI, including scarce registered letter ands parcel receipts from smaller offices, a scarce 1923 registered stationery cover from Rouge Bouillon, many World War II Occupation frankings including first day and registered usages, to later twentieth century, condition varies as expected in a holding of this nature, but many fine strikes, many desirable items included, the result of years of dedicated searching by the collector, a collection that would be a tremendous effort to duplicate.

1916/1957, Iles Chausey, collection of just over 100 picture postcards, neatly mounted and written-up on pages, including examples with restaurant, hotel or other handstamped cachets, views of Mont St. Michel and Pontorson, five WWI Prisoner of War cards/covers with various handstamps/censor markings, some small faults, but a mostly fine-very fine group, ideal for the specialist.

1869/76, Yokohama French Office, alluring group of 11 covers, showing an impressive display of tariffs from the 1866 to 1876 period, some better items with Laureated 80 c. and 40 c. tied by Dotted Diamond “5118” to envelope to France with alongside cds. “YOKOHAMA 15 MAI 71” (scarce 1,20 Francs tariff valid six months from January until end of June 1871), two 1876 envelopes the first one franked at the 1 Franc tariff (endorsed “Voie Française”, French paquebot to Marseille), the second at the 1,10 Francs tariff (endorsed “Via Brindisi”, British paquebot), some faults but a rare duo exhibiting both routes, also some underfranked mail, etc., some signed Calves, mixed condition.
