10 k. brown/blue, vertical pair of fresh colours and excellent embossing, nicely centred and with good perforations, each adhesive tied by circular dotted numeral “1” (type with two additional dots on each side of the numeral) to a small piece, alongside red framed “S.P.Burg 23 May 1858”, some minor toning on a few perfs, still fine. Extremely rare usage of an early Russian adhesive on a foreign incoming mail, signed Mikulski and certificate Citerne BPP (2025)

1866, 1 k. black/yellow, with additional 2 k. black/red and 20 k. blue/orange, all with fresh colours, tied by cds. “KUBEYINSKOE PO BESSARABSK 19 JAN. 1879” to reverse of a registered envelope to Moscow with arrival postmarks, a lovely and scarce usage from Bessarabia, signed Mikulsiki

1866, 5 k. black/lilac, four vertical pairs, fresh colours, each neatly tied by cds. “ODESSA 26 MAY 1874” to a double weight step envelope to Marseilles, travelling post office and Warsaw transit postmark on reverse, one stamp with a defective corner, otherwise a very fine and scarce 40 kopek franking, signed Mikulski

1875, 20 k. blue/orange with additional 8 k. grey/carmine(2), 2 k. black/red and 1866 1 k. black/yellow, all on horizontally  laid watermarked paper, fresh colours and except for one 8 kopek with a corner crease, in very fine condition, tied by cds. “SMOLENSK 19 JUNE 1878” to registered envelope to Moscow, correct 39 kopek tariff, with reverse arrival cds. Some minor folds on the envelope, still very fine and attractive four-values and two-issues combination franking, opinion Citerne BPP (2024)

“P.38.”, fine strike on a folded entire from “ST PETERSBURG 10 NOV. 1864” to Rome, Prussian transit via France, embarked on a boat in Marseilles for further transmission to final destination, fine. A very scarce usage of the “P.38.” Prussian marking during the second period of use (for the transit via Prussia and France to third countries, 1862-1865) (Van der Linden-Nr. 2097)

“P.41.”, fine strike on a folded entire from “BERDIANSK 15 JULY 1861” to Genova, transit via Odessa, alongside framed “PORTO”, “PRUSSE VALENCIENNES, etc., reverse red arrival handstamp “ARRIVO GENOVA 12 LUG 61”, fine. A very scarce usage of the “P.41.” Prussian marking during its first period of use (up to 31 December 1861) (Van der Linden-Nr. 2106)

“P.45.”, very fine strike on folded entire from “WARSAW TRAIN STATION ST PETERSBURG 7 SEPT. 1866” to Naples, Prussian transit via France and Genoa, reverse arrival red framed “ARRIVO NAPOLI SET 66”, fine. A very scarce usage of the “P.45.” Prussian marking, recored during the third period of use (for the transit via Prussia and France to third countries, from 1866) (Van der Linden-Nr. 2113)
