1869/76, Yokohama French Office, alluring group of 11 covers, showing an impressive display of tariffs from the 1866 to 1876 period, some better items with Laureated 80 c. and 40 c. tied by Dotted Diamond “5118” to envelope to France with alongside cds. “YOKOHAMA 15 MAI 71” (scarce 1,20 Francs tariff valid six months from January until end of June 1871), two 1876 envelopes the first one franked at the 1 Franc tariff (endorsed “Voie Française”, French paquebot to Marseille), the second at the 1,10 Francs tariff (endorsed “Via Brindisi”, British paquebot), some faults but a rare duo exhibiting both routes, also some underfranked mail, etc., some signed Calves, mixed condition.
1898/1918 (ca.), mint never hinged/unused and used collection, starting with the first overprint issues with multiples, blocs up to the high rouble values, many with sheet borders or corners, fine selection of cancellations with Tienstin, Shanghai, Chifu, Port Arthur, Manchuria, Romanov 5 r. with cds. “KHARBIN” (4), Mukden, Tsitsikar, etc., together with a few covers and cards. Some occasional faults, overall in very good condition, in one album

1843/1918, used collection, some better item with Bull´s Eyes 30 reis (worn plate, horizontal crease), Don Pedro up to the 1000 reis value, the collection unfolds with a lovely group of the early Mute Cancellations, later issues with shades and some duplicates, some occasional faults at places, mostly in good condition, neatly mounted on self-printed pages, in one album
1844/2004 (ca.), extensive used collection with covers, including Fiscals, Varig Company and Telegraphs, starting with as group of Bull´s Eyes up to the 90 reis (mostly with defects), Inclinados with Mi.-Nr. 9 used on small piece, fine group of Verticais duplicates with Mi.-Nr. 18(4), Coloridos with Mi.-Nr. 22(3), followed by an attractive array of the Don Pedro issues with an abundance of shades and cancellations, Mi.-Nr. 46(6), 47(12), along with a small section of the Mute Postmarks, together with some covers, better destinations like Java, etc., a few forgeries noted. Some faults especially in the early issues, later overall in good condition, a few forgeries noted. A usefull lot, neatly housed in six albums

British, German and French Post Offices, many interesting usages and better items, noted three covers to USA from 1872-74 each bearing a single Hong Kong SG-Nr. 11 tied by oval barred “B62” and paying the single rate for mail carried by the Pacific steamship service, with red cds. “HONG KONG PAID” alongside, some scarcer postmarks like “LIU KUNG TAU” (Webb-Nr. 199 Type B) tying a Hong Kong 4 c. to 1904 postcard to London, French “AMOY CHINE POSTE FRANCAISE” and “FOU-TCHEOU-CHINE”, etc., some faults especially in the early mail, mixed condition.
