ANG. V. BRIND A. MOD 22 JUIN 73” (Salles-Nr. 1895), reverse arrival cds., very fine and scarce 1,30 francs rate for the Brindisi route, signed Scheller

1871, Cérès 25 c. blue, two horizontal pairs of fresh colours, neatly tied by large dotted lozenge “5118” alongside cds. “YOKOHAMA Bau FRANCAIS 16 M(ARS) 74” to small cover to Paris, reverse arrival cds. “PARIS ETRANGER 1 MAI 74”, one adhesive with a pulled perf., the envelope´s back flap roughly opened, still very fine, signed Scheller. 1879, langformatiger, blauer, eingeschriebener Dienstbrief mit eingedruckter Absenderangabe “General Post Office of Japan, Bureau of International Posts, Official Business” sowie Absenderstempel “YOKOHAMA JUL 29 1879”, via San Francisco mit Transitstempel “SAN FRANCISCO, CAL AUG 22 1879 REGISTERED”, adressiert an den Postgeneraldirektor auf Helgoland, leichte Alters- und Beförderungsspuren, ein wohl einmaliger Brief

1869/76, Yokohama French Office, alluring group of 11 covers, showing an impressive display of tariffs from the 1866 to 1876 period, some better items with Laureated 80 c. and 40 c. tied by Dotted Diamond  “5118” to envelope to France with alongside cds. “YOKOHAMA 15 MAI 71” (scarce 1,20 Francs tariff valid six months from January until end of June 1871), two 1876 envelopes the first one franked at the 1 Franc tariff (endorsed “Voie Française”, French paquebot to Marseille), the second at the 1,10 Francs tariff (endorsed “Via Brindisi”, British paquebot), some faults but a rare duo exhibiting both routes, also some underfranked mail, etc., some signed Calves, mixed condition. 

1948/63 (ca.), mostly mint never hinged and unused accumulation, a few duplicates, some better items like Mi.-Nr. 428A (3) and 428A small souvenir sheets (3), some occasional light toning on a few values, otherwise mostly in very good condition, in one stockbook

1893/21, group of six covers, including military mail, envelopes from the Russian Embassy in Tokyo and from the American Consulate in Yokohama, etc., mixed condition
