1853, Napoleon 80 c. and 20 c. (applied with missing corner), tied to lettersheet from "LA BASTIDE 6 FEV. 60" to Frederikshall, Norway. A register handstamp next to the franking overstamped with boxed "AFFRANCHISSEMENT INSUFFISANT". The franking was not accepted and upon arrival the letter was taxed with "26" skilling. On front transit mark "SVINESUND 15 2 1860". An interesting letter with unusual destination.

1855, Pedro 25 r. blue, cut to shape, tied by barred "42" with adjacent straight-line "SETUBAL" to entire letter, written on board the ship 'Witch' 1855 to Skien, Norway, part paid to the French border and taxed with "26" skilling upon arrival. On front transit mark "SANDOSUND 11/6". A rare early franked cover to Scandinavia.

50 k. on 3 k. imperforate, horizontal pair tied by cds. “OMSK 5- 8 19” repeated alongside to envelope to Norway, censored by the military, reverse arrival cds. “CHRISTIANA 13 X 19”, faint vertical archival fold, very fine and scarce

1858/72, coat of arms 12 o., tied by clear "STOCKHOLM 7/10 1868" to underpaid envelope to Christiania, Norway, with adjacent "OTTILR:FRANCO" and taxed with "3" skilling.

1882/85, Karte Wappenzeichnung mit kleinen Eckziffern 5 Öre mit beidseitigem Firmenzudruck und tarifgerechter Zufrankatur Ausgabe 1884 20 Öre hellblau je mit Stempel "KJOBENHAVN 5.10.(89) als Nachnahme-Karte über 7,63 Kronen nach Stavanger, Norwegen, in guter Erhaltung. Bei Nachnahme-Karten nach Norwegen wurde das Briefporto in Höhe von 10 Öre berechnet, dazu 15 Öre Nachnahme-Gebühr bis 10 Kronen. Eine dekorative und nicht häufige Nachnahme-Karte mit Destination Norwegen

184/86, Karte Wappenzeichnung 5 Öre mit beidseitigem Firmen-Zudruck und Zufrankatur Ausgabe 1884 5-20 Öre je mit Stempel "KIOPENHAVN 4.10.(87) als Nachnahme-Karte über 25 Kronen 76 Öre nach Frederiksstad, Norwegen, in guter Erhaltung. Für Nachnahme-Karten nach Norwegen gibt es kein Kartentarif, hier wurde das Briefporto von 10 Öre und die Nachnahme-Gebühr bis 100 Kronen in Höhe von 30 Öre. Eine ungewöhnliche und seltene Frankatur-Kombination mit komplettem Satz Ausgabe 1884 und Destination Norwegen
