DINABURG (Latvia): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, used with central red circular postmark with dots in centre over a previous cancel, which had been washed and mostly removed, with slight surface aberrations at bottom. FRAUENBURG (Latvia): 10 kopeck brown & blue, clear at base, otherwise good to large margins, used with pen cross on lettersheet, with reverse side boxed dispatch Mark "FRAUENBURG" with manuscript date "27 August 58", to Riga. Some minor staining in the envelope only. A fine and rare No.1 entire; just one further recorded from this tiny village. 2 certificate Buchsbayew (2018)
ILLUXT (Latvia): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good even margins, used with central and clear strike of small straight line "ILLUXT" with adjacent double line date stamp, to lettersheet to Mühlenhof near Riga, with arrival mark. Cover folds not affecting the stamp. A rare and attractive entire. The only recorded with this pre-philatelic postmark and one of just 2 covers recorded from this small village. The stamp tiny penstroke at left; some minor ageing and small part of backflap restored, still very fine and rare; most likely the finest of 4 covers recorded with this cancellation. RIGA (Latvia): 10 kopeck brown and blue, horizontal pair with good to large margins, tied by pen crosses to letter sheet to Pernau with reverse side dispatch mark "RIGA 10 FEB. 1858" and bilingual arrival mark. The right stamp with very minor and unobtrusive diagonal bend, still very fine and most attractive. An extremely rare franking. Certificates Mikulski (1995) and Citerne BPP (2026)
