1868, Umschlag frankiert mit Franz-Joseph 5 Kr. rot, grober Druck von “TRIEST 1/6/71” über Otacac, Karlovac und Bihac (Biheke, Bosnien und Herzegowina) nach Zavalje, in Bihac mit Türkei 1869, 2 Pia. orange und 10 pa. braun zufrankiert und mit klarem Dreiringstempel “BIHEKE” entwertet, rückseitig Transitstempel "OTOCAC 3/6" sowie Karlovac und Ringstempel ZAVALJE 4/6/71, Adresszusatz ‘Kroatische Militär Grenze’, die türkische Marke der groben Zähnung eng getrennt, ansonsten sehr seltene und attraktive Mischfrankatur. Alexandretta: 1869, entire letter to Marseilles, franked on reverse with Turkey 1868 Duloz 20 pa. green and 1 pi. yellow, perf. 13¼, tied by Arabic framed “Haleb” in blue, mailed through the French P.O. in Alexandrette with 1862 Napoléon laureated 20 c. blue, two singles including one with plate flaw “Napoleon with horn”, tied by faint GC “5079” with adjacent red framed “PAQUEBOT DE LA MEDITERRANEE”, on reverse Smyrna French P.O. transit and Marseilles arrival (August 15) cds. The adhesives with negligible faults, still fine and scarce combination usage opened out for display, probably unique with the plate variety, signed Calves

1879, 25 c. black on red rose tied to envelope by CONSTANTINOPLE GALATA 29/OCT/79, bilingual cds., adressed to Aleppo, on reverse french blue transit mark ALEXANDRETTE SYRIA. Turkey 20 para green and 1 piastre yellow 1876 issue tied by all arabic POSTAHANE-I HALEP 1278 (with crescent, A&P #3) on reverse, tiny crease, fine and attractive, vertificate du Vachat (2010).

1863, Volos (Turkey): Entire folded letter, with six pages content, marked in blue with the handstamp of the "Agency of the Hellenic Steamship Company at VOLOS", dateline 29-5-1861, red crayon ‘40’ (Lepta), sent to Syra with arrival mark on reverse, usual file folds, otherwise fine.

1918, 5 st. postal stationery card Bulgaria used during occupation of Romania, cancelled SILISTRA 8.4.18, blue german censor mark ‘GEPRÜFT 12.4.18 Postüberwachungsstelle’, black “T” in circle for taxe and blue crayon “10” alongside, addressed at first in latin script than in ottoman to ‘Braila 6th turkish army 15th unit’, so that we can assume that it was transported by the Turkish field post. Text complete written in old ottoman script by a Turkish officer, vertical fold and border faults, otherwise fine. An extremely scarce item of occupation period with turkish and german fieldpost and of great interest to the postal history of Bulgaria, Romania, Germany and Turkey 

1931/32, CIDNA airmail post labels ‘PAR AVION’, two different booklets, one large size turkish-french bilingual, punched and without labels, with turkey revenues preprinted on reverse, the other small size containing 27 labels (missing 1) in french showing romanian air mail cover of 1931 imprint with tarifs for all countries on the route. The booklets advertise the 1 day flight from Paris, France to Turkey and retour. CIDNA was the name change from 1925 of CFRNA “The French-Romanian Company for Air Transport”. Fine and scarce.

BRAILA: 1843, Entire letter to Constantinopel, upon arrival struck with all Arabic negative "An Canib Posta-i Deraliyye 257" greenish handstamp. Very rare; just 5 entires from this early period have been recorded.

"HIRSOVA", all arabic double-circle, clear and complete strike in blue on 1869/71, 1 pia. yellow. Extremely rare. Certificate Nakri AIEP (2019). Ex Kuyas.

KALAS (GALATZ), "AN CANIB-I POSTA-I KALAS", blue negative seal cancel, nice clear strike on tatar postal document from Shumnu, Bulgaria, to Galatz. Very rare.

"MACIN", all arabic double-circle, clear and complete strike in blue on 1869/71, 20 pa. green. Extremely rare. Certificate Nakri AIEP(2019). Ex Mellon.

"MECIDIYE", all arabic double-circle, clear and complete strike on 1870, postage due 20 pa. Extremely rare. Certificate Nakri AIEP(2019). Ex Mellon.

“KÖSTENCE” all Arabic double-box, clear and almost complete strike on 10 Pa. revenue stamp (for Postal receipts). Very rare

"TULCA", all arabic double-circle, clear and complete strike in blue on 1869/71, 1 pia. Extremely rare. Certificate Nakri AIEP(2019).

1862, Tughra 20 pa. yellow, trial printing for the third issue on thin gummed paper with ‘burele’ ground, right sheet marginal block of four (Type C-D/K-L). (The tabulation of the block reports and type are according to Tevfik Kuyas). Very Fine and an extremely rare multiple. (Isfila catalogue value for single stamps 13.300,-€, block of four is unpriced).

1863, Tughra first printing 2 pia. deep blue on thin paper, fresh colour and good margins all around, unused with original gum, very fine, certificate Isfila (2017). (isf. cat. value 3.800,-€).

1862, Tughra first printing, 2 pia. black on thin deep blue paper, unused, A. Garmiryan plate flaw 2A, uncommonly large margins all around with dividing lines on three sides, extremely scarce and very fine (Isfila catalogue value 3.800€++)

1863, Tughra first printing 5 pia. black on rose vertical pair (less than 10 recorded), central blue band, light cancelled blue and black, showing plate flaw ‘missing corner’ on top left. Very fine, apparently only 2 vertical pairs with this variety recorded, an exceptional and rare showpiece. (Isfila Specialised No. 2 BE108, cat. value 15.000,-€)

1863, Tughra, Second Printing on thin paper, 20pa black on yellow, irregular head-to-head tete-beche block of five, red control band at top and foot, unused, with part original gum, large to very large margins on all sides including sheet margin at right, a few typical light creases common for this delicate paper, black arrow indicating frameline break adhered to block, else a fine and scarce multiple, ex “Sultan”. 1863, Tughra, 2nd printing, 20 pa. on yellow and 2 pia. on blue, both with nice margins, tied by dotted blue battal handstamp to cover letter to Sofia. Very fine, opinion Todd AIEP (2013)

1863, Tughra, Second Printing on thin paper, 1pi black on grey, foot-to-foot tete-beche block of four, with red control band, margins large to clear, bold cancellation in black, a fine and scarce multiple, ex “Sultan”.  (Isfila 4 TB01)

1863, Tughra, 2nd printing, 1 pia. on lilac-grey and 2 pia. on blue, both with nice margins, tied by dotted battal handstamp to entire letter to Filibe. Very fine and fresh. Signed A. Diena and Calves, opinion Todd AIEP (2013)

1863, 1 pia. tete-beche pair double bisect cut on bottom and top, tied to large piece by blue ‘Battal’ cancellation with part of address, toned, flaw and tiny faults, otherwise fine and attractive. Tete-beche usages are extremely scarce.

1864, Turkey 20 pa. black on yellow third printing on thick paper, a fine horizontal pair with good to wide margins, tied to 1864 entire letter from Sarajewo to Brod, stamps clear cancelled Bosna in dots (Coles-Walker No.3, Brandt-Ceylan Type IIA no.1, RRR), very scarce blue negative postmasters arrival mark ‘BROD with leaf ornament’ (Coles-Walker No.10), file fold and tiny toned, otherwise fine and very scarce first-issue franking from Bosnia. In PROFI archive only two such covers recorded.

1863, Tughra, Third Printing on thick paper, 1pi black on grey head to head tete-beche pair, red control bands, large margins all around, neatly-cancelled with blue battal, various thins and imperfections but of fine appearance, ex “Sultan”. (Isf 20 TB02)

1865, Duloz issue 25 piaster orange proof on very thick paper (Isfila unrecorded), well margins and very fresh color, green control print on reverse, very scarce 

1870, Postage Due issue imperf essays with red-brown border, 20 pa. to 5 pia. in pairs and 25 Pia. single, thin paper, all very fresh and with deep colour, few tiny thins, fine and very seldom offered!

1873, Star & Crescent (Duloz), 10 pa. yellowish beige, perf. 12, bottom right margin strip of four (pos.147-150 including Passer Type 3C, retouche ‘A’), unused with original gum, small hinge remnants, very good centered for this issue and of superb deep and fresh colour, tiny spots at top perfs, otherwise a fine and remarkable multiple. According to Plantinga the largest recorded multiple, in his book is shown only a pair (D.Feldman ‘The Duloz Issues’  publ. 2009, p.132), a rarity. (Isfila catal. value 24.200,-€)

1873, Star & Crescent (Duloz), 10 pa. yellowish beige, perf. 12, showing "Corrige" variety "corrected 10 on pos.33", unused with original gum, small hinge remnants, good centered for this issue and of superb deep and fresh colour, a very fine and remarkable variety. According to Plantinga and Isfila unrecorded. It has always been assumed that this stamp also exists as a corigee, but no unused example has been found to date. In PROFI archive unrecorded and the rarest "Corrige" of the Duloz issue.

1871, Duloz 25 Pia. dull rose, complete sheet of 50 stamps with full margins, plate flaws "top left corner break" & "15" instead of "25" at pos. 19, "short 2" at pos. 25, fine and very fresh colour, scarce and attractive exhibition block! (Isfila catalogue value for ** 5.000€)

1901, Tugra presentation book, bound in red velvet, containing photographic essays for domestic and foreign mail issue in unissued designs and two large photographic proofs without denomination. Binding damaged and presentation cartons with marginal adhesions Most likely unique.

1914, Istanbul Pictorial, London Printing, 2 pa. – 200 ghr. in blocks of 4, unmounted mint, quite fresh and of good colour, a rarity in this condition (Isf 461-477)
