1868, Umschlag frankiert mit Franz-Joseph 5 Kr. rot, grober Druck von “TRIEST 1/6/71” über Otacac, Karlovac und Bihac (Biheke, Bosnien und Herzegowina) nach Zavalje, in Bihac mit Türkei 1869, 2 Pia. orange und 10 pa. braun zufrankiert und mit klarem Dreiringstempel “BIHEKE” entwertet, rückseitig Transitstempel "OTOCAC 3/6" sowie Karlovac und Ringstempel ZAVALJE 4/6/71, Adresszusatz ‘Kroatische Militär Grenze’, die türkische Marke der groben Zähnung eng getrennt, ansonsten sehr seltene und attraktive Mischfrankatur. BRAILA: 1843, Entire letter to Constantinopel, upon arrival struck with all Arabic negative "An Canib Posta-i Deraliyye 257" greenish handstamp. Very rare; just 5 entires from this early period have been recorded.

KALAS (GALATZ), "AN CANIB-I POSTA-I KALAS", blue negative seal cancel, nice clear strike on tatar postal document from Shumnu, Bulgaria, to Galatz. Very rare.

1864, 1 pia. on red brown, fresh colour, full to wide margins, tied by fine dotted 'battal' (Coles-W.no.60) to entire letter from Kazgan (Razgrad, Bulgaria) to Rustschuk, usual file folds, otherwise very fine, opinion Todd AIEP (2014).
1864, Turkey 20 pa. black on yellow thin paper, a fine horizontal pair (right stamp closed on top) and single, generally good to wide margins, tied to 1864 entire letter from Sarajewo to Mostar, stamps very light cancelled Bosna in dots (Brandt-Ceylan Type IIA no.1, RRR), fine first issue entire.
1866, Entire letter to Brod bearing Postage Due 20 pa. light brown pair, cancelled by double-ringed all arabic ‘Bosna/81’ with dot under ‘B’, (Brandt-Ceylan Type IV no.1, RRR), handstamped in black, a filing crease does not affect the stamps, otherwise fine.
1869, „RUSCUK 81“, all arabic double circle, clear strike (AP Type:04, No:5, R) on envelope to Constantinople, at arrival Duloz 1868 issue 1 pia. yellow and 20 p. green tied by Deraliye box type to envelope. A fine and rare cover. Signed Nakri AIEP.

"MISSIS JAN 8 93", cds in bluish green, on postcard dated “Castellorizo 27/XII 92”, via Constantinopel and railway "CONSPLE-MOUST.PASHA" to Germany. Very rare.
"NASLIDJ ", cds (ISFILA type 3) on postcard with long text, dated 1903, endorsed "via Salonique Athens". Supposed to be unique.
1903, BUR. AMB. BEYROUTH-DAMAS no.2 - 2/10/903 (Isfila no.507, CW unrecorded, Sam-Beyrut Seyyar Merkezi 2) violet on postcard bearing 20 pa. rose-carmine, adressed to Vitteaux France with arrival mark 12/11/03 on front, fine and very scarce railway cancellation and Lebanon / Syria postal history.
1870, Turkey postage due 20 pa. brown, 1869 issue perf. 13¼, horizontal pair and single, tied to entire letter from Beirut to Damas, paying the rate for three dirhems up to 100 route hours; each tied by fine strikes of small triple boxed "BEIRUT / 81" handstamps in blue (Coles & Walker fig. 4), tiny toned, stamps and postmarks excellent.
1880, “POSTAHANE-I SHAM 1279” Folded envelope from Damas to Beyrouth with pair and single 20 Pa. green, all tied by clear all arabic "POSTAHANE-I SHAM 1279" to Beyrouth (Isfila no.2, R), unrecorded green oneliner “Damas Le 24 Mars 1880” alongside, right stamp of pair showing plate flaw missing ‘20’ (white tablet), light fold and tiny toned, otherwise fine, scarce and very attractive Syria postal history.
1896, TELGRAF VE POSTAHANE-I HALEB 1319 (A&P no.16) violet cancellation on telegraph, usual file fold, clear and in this colour a very scarce cancellation of early Syria & Turkey

1851/1912, delightful exhibit collection with 37 covers and cards, covering the Ottoman, Italian and French Offices in Tripoli including the consular postal services, many better usages with 1851 entire letter from Livorno via Marseilles and Malta to Tripoli de Barberia, 1881 envelope from “TRIPOLI DI BARBERIA” to Livorno with Italian Levant 5c. and 10 c. (x2) tied by mute “annulo a rombi”, official envelope headed “R. CONSOLATO D´ITALIA” and on reverse its large seal handstamp, 1893 envelope to Constantinople with French Sage adhesives with pearled cds “TRIPOLI BARBARIE 14 FEVR 93” in mixed franking with Turkey 1 pi. adhesive (opened for display), etc.; except for the occasional fault in overall very good condition.
