1863, Volos (Turkey): Entire folded letter, with six pages content, marked in blue with the handstamp of the "Agency of the Hellenic Steamship Company at VOLOS", dateline 29-5-1861, red crayon ‘40’ (Lepta), sent to Syra with arrival mark on reverse, usual file folds, otherwise fine.

1843, entire folded letter from “SMYRNE 4.Fevr.1843”, boxed “P.P.' in black alongside, sent to Constantinople with arrival cds. and rate ”8" décimes on reverse, fine and scarce origin.

1867,  Ship Mail entire letter from Constantinople (14/Dec) to Malta, showing extremely rare strike of framed «Valsamachy and Co / steam ship agents / and ship brokers / Constantinople» in blue, inside endorsed “Through”, same company blue oval cachet alongside, addressed to Golcher Esq. Malta and forewarded by Agent “EYNAUD & PARIENTE / SENSALI DI NELECCIO / ED AGENTI / VALETTA MALTA” with blue oval cachet (PROFI archive unrecorded type) on reverse. Two Mediterranean Forewarding Agent cachets on one cover are extremely scarce, tiny ink spots and file fold, otherwise fine and very rare.

1876, "SAKIZ VAPUR SUBESI" (Chio Island, Isfila no.1, RRR) blue cancellation on cover with 1 pia. yellow, few tiny spots, fine and very rare Greece & Turkey postal history. In PROFI archive only two covers recorded.

1883, BELL'S ASIA MINOR S.S.Co SYRA AGENCY blue oval cachet on agents bill, vertical file fold, very fine and attractive steam ship document, scarce Greece & Turkey naval postal history, certificate du Vachat!

1883, “G.O. JOLY VICTORIA & CO / CHIO” violet circle cancellation on envelope from CHIO bearing Duloz 20 para green single, tiny vertical fold, scarce and attractive. In Profi archive only this Chio cancel on cover recorded.

1858, Folded tissue-paper envelope bootlegged from Smyrna, Turkey to Boston, carried by Capt. Watson ‘Ship Henry Hill’ with 122 bales madder roots, ms. “Via Trieste” inside, letter with embossing and black sender cachet F.C. Blackler Smyrna on reverse. At arrival in US Franklin 1 c. blue type V tied by black “PAID” in circle to envelope and red “Boston Mass. Nov/12” arrival cds. on front. Tiny file fold, otherwise Very Fine and a scarce usage.

1838/60, MARITIME MAIL: 13 envelopes including ship mail from Turkey, Austria, Great Brittain, many transit marks and cholera disinfection, mostly fine

NORWEGEN: 1838/1980 (ca.), umfangreiche Sammlung “Norwegische Schiffspost” mit ca. fast 700 Briefen, Karten und GSK bis ca. 1960 inkl. Incoming Mail und etlichen nicht eingearbeiteten Belegen. Dabei frühe Post mit u.a. kpl. Faltbrief 1838 von Christiania mit ovalem Stempel “ALTONA SCHIFFSBRIEF” nach Schottland, kpl. Faltbrief 1863 mit handschriftlichem Aufgabevermerk “Foldin”, kpl. Faltbrief 1861 mit handschriftlichem Aufgabevermerk “Bjprn Farmand”, blauer EKr. “HALDEN 6.10.1854” auf kpl. Faltbrief und Briefhülle mit schwarzem EKr. “HAKON JARL 29.5.1861”. Danach u.a. zwei Briefe 1861/63 mit EKr. “NORDLAND”, Transitstempel “Norwegen direct” rückseitig auf Faltbrief mit zweimal 8 Sk.  mit EKr. “STAVANGER 14.9.1864”, viele Nordlands Posteksp.-Stempel inkl. R-Briefen, Stempel “BÜREAU DE MER DE NORVEGE B 27.X.23” auf frankiertem R-Brief nach Schweden und 12 Briefe “NORSK SKIPSPOST HANDELSFLÄTEN” 1943/45 (6x mit Zensur). Dazu viele lose Marken und Briefstücke mit Schiffspost-Stempeln und zusätzlich viele Briefe nach 1960, alles auf Albenblättern mit Beschriftung in 24 Alben und ein mittlerer Karton mit nicht eingearbeitetem Material. Ein außergewöhnliches und empfehlenswertes Objekt
