Internal franked Sirmoor covers are virtually unobtainable because the Maharaja of Sirmoor had issued strict orders to have the stamps removed from all articles of mail prior to delivery. Only a handful of such Sirmoor cover exist, the majority of franked Sirmoor covers are combination covers addressed to areas outside Sirmoor State.
