PRUSSIA - GREECE: 1863, official tripple rate lettersheet with red wax seal on reverse from "WEISSENSEE 28/1" to the Prussian embassy at Athens, free of charge within the German Postal Union, franked upon arrival with consecutive printings 5 l. green, 10 l. orange and 2 copies 80 l. rose, tied by Athens cds. (30.1.). Charged in transit with "45" new kreuzer in blue crayon and in Greece with a total postage due of "175" lepta, to be collected from the recipient. 3 stamps affected by horizontal crease (originally affixed around the edge of the entire), otherwise fine. A most unusual and scarce entire.

Gewichtsstufe mit rückseitigem rotem Wachssiegel von "WEISSENSEE 28/1" an die preußische Botschaft in Athen; portofrei innerhalb des Deutschen Postvereins, Im Transit mit "45" Neukreuzern in blau taxiert und in Griechenland mit einem Gesamtporto von "175" Lepta, frankiert mit 1862/68, 5 L. grün, 10 L. orange und 2 Exemplaren 80 L. rosa mit DKr. "ATHEN 30 JAN.63" . 3 Marken mit horizontalem Bug (ursprünglich um den Rand geklebt), sonst gute Erhaltung. Ein interessanter und in dieser Form sehr seltener Brief.
