1920, field postcard from the camp for returning Hungarian prisoners of war in Pinsk with violet cachet “tacja przyjęć powracających jeńców węgierskich” (=Reception station for returning Hungarian prisoners of war), franked with horizontal pair Coat of arms 25f. olive and tied by cds. “PINSK,” addressed to Budapest, with censor marks “Wojskowy Dozór Pocztowy / LWÓW 1”, “NIEPODLEGA KONTROLI / WOJSK. DOZÓR POCZT. LWOW 2” (=not subject to control/Military Postal Control Lwow 2), and “Wr.1” of Warsaw alongside. Why the postage has been applied is unclear, usually this sort of mail was carried postage-free, signed Petriuk with certificate (2025) and certificate Drzewiecki (2019)
