1851/69, 3 d. dull red in block of 4, 2 values touched at one or two sides, otherwise good to large margins, with single stamp with clear to large margins on all sides, tied by grill cancel "1" to large blue folded insurance circular, used to forward an enclosure (docketing on reverse) from "ST. JOHN NEW BRUNSWICK JY 7 1855" to Fredericton with arrival mark of the same day; some ironed filing creases incl. 2 affecting the block. A very rare franking of quintuple local rate
