6 d. olive-yellow, just touched at two places on one side, otherwise large margins, tied by blue grill "8" and additional straight line "ADVERTISED 1 CENT" to envelope from "CHATHAM MA 31 1854" via St. John to Brooklyn, New York, with adjacent blue "NEW BRUNSWICK" and red "PAID 10 CENTS" (oxidized); a fine and rare entire to the US.
