KINGMAN'S CITY POST: 2 c. black on blueish, "Kingman's" erased, top left corner sheet margins, other sides clear to touching, tied by manuscript cancel that appears to be the initial "M" (possibly Joseph G. Martin) and 1851 Washington 3c. claret, no inner frame lines, close to just touched margins tied by blue cds. "RALEIGH N.C. JU ? 1857" to envelope to Charleston with detailed street address in another handwriting, presumably applied at Charleston, part of two backflaps missing, small ink spots at top, otherwise very fine.
