FRANCAIS' backstamp on restored flap and double rate cover from Paris to Shanghai, China franked by 1862 80 c. carmine pair tied by Star '2' with 'SHANG-HAI / BAU. FRANCAIS' datestamp of receipt (June 12) in black. A scarce and attractive pair. Signed Goebel.
