1856, 4 c. black on rose-carmine, initialled "E.D.W." which has caused a slight defect by ink erosion (strengthened by hinge), unused, otherwise fine with large margins all round and very fresh deep colour; a very rare stamp, supposed to be the only unused example, ex Maurice Burrus
