1857/63, 1d. dull orange, two vertical strips of three tied by numeral "18" of Otago to folded lettersheet to Edingburgh, despatch and arrival cds. on reverse, both strips filing creases and with other small faults through use, nevertheless a remarkable and highly unusual franking of the 6d. rate, certificate Holcombe.
