½ d. deep rose, vertical strip of 4 and single stamp, all with good to very large margins, tied by clear numeral "37" to complete printed circular with adjacent clear "QUEBEC JY 13 1858" to Bremen, Germany, transported via England, Belgium and Prussia, showing on reverse red "SEEBRIEF PER ENGLAND UND AACHEN"; faint filing crease in strip of 4 pressed, very attractive and rare, only one further properly paid circular to Europe is known from the Pence-Period; certificates Greene and BPA (1995) Provenance: W.E.
