36 skilling banco letter, franked with 2 copies 6 skilling bco and single 24 skilling bco, postmarked Stockholm November 10th 1857 and sent to Brixton, Surrey with adjacent boxed "Aus Schweden per Stralsund", transit "YSTAD 13.11" and arrival mark "LONDON DU NO17 57". On the right 6 skilling there is a small tear and rounded off corner perforation, otherwise fine. A very attractive skilling letter to an unusual destination. Certificate HOW (1990).
