Commercial letter from Batum to Constantinople with Batum British Consulate cachet in black. In the upper right corner arrival mark single circle "ARMY POST OFFICE Y1 A" with unclear date. On reverse the dispatch date is added by hand "25/8/20". This is after the withdrawal of British troops from Batum in July 1920, part of reverse and franking missing, an interesting entire depicted in "BATUM UNDER OCCUPATION the years 1917 – 1921", page 61 (by Hans G.
