1942, History, culture and economy 8s. violet cds. "KUCHING" to cover addressed to the Nanri Trading Company, stained and small tear, otherwise fine, scarce

1915, "G.R. MAFIA" handstamp on Yacht type 2½h.- 3r., 2½h. with violet the other with black handstamp, fresh colors and mostly good perforation, 15h. few short perfs, 2r. with minor gum toning and small thin spot and 3r. light toning and, on front invisible, vertical crease, a very rare set with the 1-3r. with less than 10 examples known, 2½h. signed Bühler, and certificates RPSL (1970) and BPA (2020)

Stamps overprinted by the Governor in manuscript "GR Mafia JDM": 2r. green, exceptionally fresh color and good perforation, unused with full original gum, very fine, the only known specimen and one of the greatest rarities of British Occupation issues, certificate Scheller (2020)

1915, Stamps overprinted with modified type 2 handstamp "GR POST 6 CENTS MAFIA" with wide spacing between "G" and "R", 6c. on 2½h. -3r., mostly fresh colors and good perforations, unused, the 1-3r. some small negligible imperfections of no importance considering this being the only known complete set of this rare and sought-after issue. Accompanied by a handwritten letter signed by Colonel Mackay, the Military Governor, who certifies the genuineness of the set of wide-spaced overprints, certificate Scheller (2020) (Gibbs no. 29-38)

1887, King George I 2d. pale violet, horizontal strip of six from the right sheet corner with printer marks and enumerator "97730", unused with some adhesion, attractive item, fine

1892, Arms of Tonga 1d. pale rose diagonally bisected together with 2d. additional franking tied by duplex cancel to Apia Samoa, some typical peripheral aging, nice cover with this authorized bisect making up the 2½d. UPU-rate

1920, Ruble surcharges with HH monogram 3r. on 5k., corrected to 5r., unused, this stamp is listed in Ashford/Tchilinghirian on page 139. Ceresa describes it on page 122 of his handbook, fine, signed Romeko and Ceresa and certificate Berger BPP (2018)

FISCAL STAMPS: 1919, 50k. amd 1, 3 and 10rbl. in blocks of four, in addition four block of four with later boxed inflationary surcharges, both handstamped and machine printed, mostly never hinged, one block of four small crease, otherwise fine and rarely seen

1879, unpaid envelope endorsed "Via Magellano per Iberia" to Genoa, reverse with cds. "VALPARAISO UNPAID MY 21 79", blue tax stamp "80" and upon arrival charged "13" thus postage due 30c. and 1l. applied and tied by cds., an attractive and scarce entire

1880, unpaid envelope from Valparaiso with blue merchant handstamp to Rome, with black "T" and 1-10" alongside, upon arrival taxed "16" decimes thus postage due 60c. and 1l. applied and tied by cds., fine and attractive  

1896, Dowanger 2 cr. green tied by blue seal to German Empire postal stationery card 10 pfg. used from “BRILON 31.1.96” via Shanghai to Peking with blue arrival mark “CUSTOMS PEKING MAR.14” and re-directed via German post office “TIENTSIN KDPAg 5.5.96” and “SHANGHAI I.J.P.O. 15.MAY.96” to San Francisco with arrival mark and finaly returned to Germany with arrival mark “BRILON 9.7.96” on front, slight transportation faults, very rare incoming mail to China  

1905, postal stationery card 1 c. with additional franking Coiling Dragon 5 c. salmon, 2 c. red (3), 1 c. ochre (2) and ½ c. brown (2) used as registered card from “SHANHAI 20.JAN.” to Germany with arrival mark, stained and unfresh  

1917, Definitives 2 c., 2 die proofs in red resp. black in block format by Perkins Bacon
