1941, 4 rupee yellow-green & vermillion SG Type H bottom left corner marginal copy handstamped with "BUNDI SERVICE" in black small English letters. This stamp not previously recorded with overprint. It is of great interest that the overprint is the genuine type but the ink used is different from those used on previous issues. Most likely a new batch of ink was used to produce the last issues in 1941. An exceptionally rare item

India KGI 9 pies postcard cancelled by Imperial "BUNDI 2 OCT 41" cds additionally franked with 1941 1/2 anna greenish-blue imperforate (this stamp is only listed with perf. 11) smudged printing giving it the appearance of being printed double tied by "DAK RAJ BUNDI 1 OCT 41" cds with "AJMER 4 OCT 41" delivery cds. In tatty condition but most likely a unique example of the stamp imperforate.

It should be noted that registered poscrads from Bundi are very rare. Damage on top left with tape reinforcement (SG value £240)
