NORTH GERMAN CONFEDERATION - TURKISH EMPIRE: 1869, lettersheet from the well-known 'Holstein'-correspondance to Constantinople, franked with 1868, ¼ gr. lilac in pair, ½ gr. orange and 2 gr. blue, all tied by blue "BERLIN POST-EXP.23  13/1 69", the foreign share of "2" gr. noted in blue crayon. Light creasing and little unfresh, but still fine. a scarce destination.

1869, Briefhülle der bekannten Holstein-Korrespondenz nach Konstantinopel, frankiert mit 1868, ¼ Gr. lila im Paar, ½ Gr. orange und 2 Gr. blau, mit blauem "BERLIN POST-EXP.23 13/1 69"; der Auslandsanteil von "2" Gr. in blau vermerkt. Leichte Bugspuren und etwas unfrisch. Eine seltene Destination.
