1869, Carol 50 b. blue/red, 15 b. vermilion and 10 b. deep blue with large sheet margin, all tied by 2 strikes of blue boxed „FRANCO“ to entire letter with adjacent „BRAILA MOLDOVA  29/6“ (1869) to Wexford, Ireland. Reverse with Vienna transit (3/7) cds. 15 B. with small tear, the other 2  values slightly touched in one place each, otherwise fine. A very rare three colour franking with most unusual cancellation and destination. Certificate Heimbüchler BPP (2010).

1869, Carol with whiskers, 50 b. indigo/red, 2copies with nice colour and good to large margins, with 25 b. orange/blue, slightly cut in at lower left, tied by cds. „BUCURESTI 4/2 SERA“ to quintuple rate cover (somewhat reduced in size at top) to Altenburg in Saxony. A most unusual and extremely rare high franking. Certificate Heimbüchler BPP (2010)

1871, Carol with beard, 10 b. orange, nice colour and clear to large margins, tied by clear blue cds. „CALAFAT SERA 29/7“ to entire letter to Braila, endorsed „Cu vaporu posta“, thus transported by DDSG vessel down the Danube due to a special arangement of the Faranga company. A very fine and rare letter. Signed Pascanu.

1872, Carol perforated, 10 b. blue, tied by small Bucharest single circle date stamp to lettersheet to Caracal with adjacent boxed „DUPA PLECARE“, on reverse transit- and arrival marks of Slatina and Caracal. Signed Pascanu.

1917/18, Germania 40 Bani a. 30 Pfg., Aufdruck rußig, kompletter Schalterbogen mit HAN 5517.17 ohne den obligatorischen Plattenfehler 'Aufdruck nur "Bani"' auf Feld 21, gestempelt "CRAIOVA 3 APR. 918". Schon in der Neuauflage des Kohl-Handbuches 1954 wurde von der Existenz eines solchen Bogens ausgegengen, jedoch wurde bis heute nur der hier angebotene aufgefunden. Der Bogen ist an einigen Stellen leicht bzw. waagerecht mittig stärker angetrennt, sonst einwandfrei. Eines der spektakulärsten stücke der Besetzungsausgaben WKI.
