1855/56, , Louis 100 r. lilac, marginal strip of 3, in combination with 1862/64, 50 r. green, two strips of 4, two strips of 3, two pairs and six single stamps, single 100 r. lilac and 25 r. rose in horizontal pair, all in nice fresh colour, some slightly touched, but generally with good to large margins, tied by barred "86" with adjacent boxed "LOUZA" (2nd distribution) to large part of document. Very fine and fresh condition. A unique and most impressive mixed 3 colour-franking and one of the most outstanding items of Portuguese philately.

1852, "FRANKO.", framed cyrillic handstamp in black on entire letter from Galatz to Jassy at right manuscript postage notation"2/2 – 20". A very fine and rare entire.
"KAMPOLUNG", cyrillic datestamp in black (Kiriac fig. 242) on entire letter 1859, endorsed "Grabnik" (Urgent) and numbered (476), sent registered to Bucharest. The finest of the circa ten recorded strikes of this rare handstamp. Illustrated in Heimbüchler II on page 57. Signed Heimbüchler

1869, Carol 10 bani blue, tied by small cds. "BRAILA 31 JUL 71" to letter sheet endorsed "Prin vapour" to Calafat. Some creasing not affecting the stamp, otherwise fine. A rare ship letter, not originating from the Faranga correspondance and one of just two with this franking recorded.
1871, Carol 5 bani vermilion in horizontal pair with good two large margins, used with blue cds. "CAINENII …." to lettersheet ; a rare cancellation.
1871, Carol 5 bani rose, two copies with clear to large margins, tied by cds. "CALAFAT 25/8" to lettersheet (2 side flaps missing) of the Faranga – correspondence to Braila. Fine and scarce.

1872, perf. 12½, Carol 10 bani blue, tied by blue cds. "BECHET 1/4" (1872) to entire letter to Braila with arrival mark, endorsed "Cu Vaporu" (by ship) and thus travelled down the Danube by D.D.S.G. vessel. File fold well away from the adhesive,. Scarce and attractive entire, a rare example of a 'cu Vaporu' cover not originating from the Farranga correspondence. Signed Heimbüchler.
