1852, PACIFIC: Ceres 40c. orange, two vertical pairs tied by grille sans fins to double-weight folded letter with adjacent cds. "PARIS 13 DEC 52" to New York, upon arrival charged with "21" as single rate, adhesives some faults, still attractive, certificate Ceres (2002)

1857, HERMANN: Last voyage, Napoleon 80c. horizontal strip of four tied by dotted numeral "1896" with adjacent cds. "MARSEILLE 12 JUN 57" to envelope to New York, sent via Calais to Southampton, upon arrival red "NEW YORK PAID JUN 30" struck, adhesives touched and one stamp small paper fault, still an attractive item of the last voyage and penultimate voyage of this line

1856, ASIA: Napoleon 10c. brown, 20c. blue and 40c. orange and horizontal strip of four 80c. red tied by continuous grid roller cancel to folded letter to New York, upon arrival black integral cds. "N. YORK BR. PKt.  10 MAY 16" struck, adhesives some faults, scarce cover which was prepaid with a total of 3fr90c for triple 13-decimes rate, but due 10c for the double-rate in New York (non-parallel weight progressions between France and the U.S.)

1858, NIAGARA: Napoleon 20c. blue, four singles, tied by dotted numeral "1495" with matching cds. "LE HAVRE 10 MARS 58" alongside to folded letter endorsed "Pr. Liverpool Steamer" to New York, upon arrival red integral "NEW YORK PAID MAR 29 15" applied, right adhesives touched and vertical crease, otherwise fine
