1864, ST.DAVID: Victoria 4d. brownish-red, horizontal pair and singles, tied by duplex "HAWICK NO 24 64" to mourning cover to Canton, New York. The ship broke her scrw and was towed by the "Damascus" to Portland, there the rare circular red "21" struck as credit handstamp to the UK, right stamp few imperfections, rare and attractive entire being one of only four recorded bearing the circular "21 cents" handstamp

1859, AMERICA: Victoria 2d. blue, plate 7, two slightly overlapping vertical pairs, tied by barred "A95" to folded letter to St. Catherines, Canada with arrival mark on reverse, fine

1859, ASIA: Victoria 2d. blue, 4p. rose and 1sh. green tied by barred numeral to folded letter to New Orleans, paying the 1/- plus the scarce 6d. F.R.H. late fee, reduced from 1/- two weeks earlier when the stop at Queenstown was introduced, it quickly became apparent it was not necessary to pay a Late Fee in Liverpool, with red integral arrival "NEW YORK Br. PKt. NOV 13 PAID 24", fine

1863, ARABIA: 4d. brownish-red, 6d. violet and 1sh. green tied by numeral "15" to registered folded lettersheet with boxed "LOMBARD STREET REGISTERED LETTER" and crowned "REGISTERED" alongside to Philadelphia, paying ½oz rate, 6d. registration fee and 4d. late fee, upon arrival red integral "PHILADELPHIA SEP 18 24" struck, debiting the UK 24  instead of 11 cents, fine

1864, PERSIA: Victoria 2d. blue, three blocks of six and single and 4d. brownish-red, horizontal pair and two singles, tied by barred numeral "174" with matching cds. "DINGLE OC 18 64" to large part of registered coverfront to Boston, adhesives partly affixed around the envelope, thus some adhesives with larger faults, however a stunning large franking paying the 2oz rate plus registration fee. According to the Karl Louis card register of Great Britain this is the largest franking of this stamp.

1868, CHINA: Victoria 1d. red, two singles and 6d. violet with wing margin, tied by duplex "CHARNING-CROSS AU 8 68" to envelope to New York with red "NEW YORK PAID ALL AUG 18" alongside, stamps some imperfections due to being applied at edge, otherwise fine
