1862/1917, small group of over 15 covers and cards (or front), including some MOUNT ATHOS correspondance, also 3k. Arms solo franking tied with cds "VARSAW 8 SEPT. 1889" to front of a local city envelope; condition varies from poor to very fine
1876/79, Correspondance to MOUNT ATHOS, fine group of ten money letters all addressed to ODESSA for further transmission to some monasteries on the Greek island, good range of single handstamps, also two 1894 archive halves of certificates (defect) issued by the Andreevski skete on Mount Athos and two cash requisitions (1886 and a Soviet 1936 one); fine to very fine
1878/1915, group of over sixty (60) postal stationery cards, envelopes, parcel cards and money orders, used in Lithuania, good range of postmarks including "KOVNO", "BERZHBOLOV", "PODYRODZE", etc., scarce 1914 Postal Savings Book from "BEYSAGOLANOV", also three incoming cards from France, Austria and Bavaria, mostly very fine
1888/1935, six covers and one card, including two 1880s envelopes from Dzhulfa to Tabriz Persia (ex Ashford), 1899 provisional registration label from Smolensk, 1905 postcard to Riga sent via steamship line, 1935 Soviet cover from Moscow with Philatelic Exchange stamp on reverse, also Zemstvo Zenkov a very fine pair lower sheet margin (Schmidt 36I)

1891/1916, interesting group of 27 postal used documents, mostly used in Moscow, many different preprints and postmarks, mostly good condition
1897/1900, four used newslettter wrappers, all sent to Riga and with censorship stamp, including newslettter wrappers from Ceylon "The times of Ceylon", mostly good condition
1899, Provisional Labels, specialist group of eight covers, all bearing the scarce provisional registration labels produced only in 1899, and including Smolensk, Berdichev, Vitebsk, Chernigov, Pskov, Velizhi, Velikie Luki and Kronstadt; very fine.
FIELD POST OFFICES: 1904/17, 1904 card struck with the 241th Infantry cachet (Japanese War), 1916 card tied with FPO 53 handstamp and 20k. tied with superb strikes of the FPO 3 cds; very fine interesting group
1909/16, Excellent assembly of five covers and cards with special postmarks, including a scarce TELEGRAPH postmark fom Ekaterinburg, St Petersburg OFFICE FOR GOVERNMENT AND DIPLOMATIC correspondance receiver, a Romanov cover with 1914 Mute postmark, a KIZIL-ARVAT postmark from Zakasp. oblast; very fine
1914/17 holding of over 60 used postal stationary and covers, including many better, also interesting censorship cancellations as well as camp cancellations, various condition
PROPAGANDA CARDS WWI: 1914/18 (ca.), group of 10 unused anti-German propaganda cards, interesting texts such as "Poor Wilhelm, the English have left you completely without ports!", "the Russians are advancing on all fronts...", etc.; mostly very fine
1915/16, holding of c. 40 covers and cards, including registered covers, war aid stamps, censorship mail, etc., mostly good condition
1918/21, Interesting assembly, starting with three cards and two envelopes sent during the civil war, including 1920 Free Post period registered envelope, a scarce 1918 registered postcard tied "MOSCOW" sent to Riga during the German occupation of the city, also Batum British Occupation last issue overprinted in transfer blocks of six (54), 1922 Mountain Republic (5), Far east Republic Chita 7 kopek rouletted variety imperforated between vertically (three strips mint original gum), some Russian Turkestan 1920s fiscals, also a few doubtful items identified as such
1920, interesting group of 45 stamps mint, singles postally used and on fragments; mostly very fine (ex Mi.-Nr. 1/7)
1858/1988, unused and used collection in four albums, many better sets and individual stamps like Levant Mi. 1 (2), incl. Civil War issues, Post Offices Abroad, souvenir sheets, etc., some duplicates and varieties; condition poor to very fine, an interesting collection
