1917, Indian Expeditionary Forces Postal stationery card with new G.R. POST MAFIA overprint: ¼a. grey, used with cds. "MAFIA NO", a scarce an interesting item, message added at a later date, fine
1788/1944 used assembly of world wide covers and unused stationery cards with a small selection of stamps, noted three Reunion Island covers, a pre-stamp 1788 cover from Corfu to Italy and a 1792 wrapper to Madeira, several from France with Ceres, Napoleon and Sage frankings, also Holland, Austria, Egypt, Italy, German East Africa including Sea Post, a 1904 card sent from Nyanga, Kamerun, an envelope originating from Bangangte, as well as a registered 1944 Bafia, Cameroun envelope, a small selection of Monaco unused cards and three 1989 French coin covers, mixed condition although plenty of finer examples, a scarce assortment.
1898/1912 German Colonies collection of mint and used stamps, booklets, stationery cards, picture post cards and covers, presented in three large albums, covering East Africa, South West Africa, China, New Guinea and Somoa, organised by cancellation, stamp issues, stationery and mail routes, including Sea Post, some fine and scarce circular datestamps on single stamps and piece, noted Navy Ship Mail covers for Togo, an array of unusual frankings and rare China material, including Registered 1913 cover from Shanghai to Kobe, Japan, East Asian Expeditionary Corps. on 1912 card, Ganzsachen Sea Post mail, Tientsen 1917 cancel on $1/2 overprint on small piece, Hankau and Peking postmarks on covers, Kiautschou Sea Post mail carried on the "Hansa" cruiser with picture post card of ship alongside, Field Post cards, Canton Regiment mark on 1911 cover to Berlin, British frankings in Cape Town on censor mail, including a registered cover dated 1916 from Keetmanshoop to Switzerland, several stamp varieties also illustrated on the 20 p. and 30 p. values, a well arranged assembly, many varied illustrations and examples, which in the main are in fine condition, nice collection.
1890/1918, Stempel-Sammlung ab Vorläufer-Ausgaben auf schönen Briefstücken, vielen GSK und Briefen, dabei u.a. GSU mit Stempel "LAMU 3.2.91", Bedarfsbrief mit Krone/Adler 20 Pfg. mit Stempel "ZANZIBAR KDPAg 31.10.90", R-Brief mit rückseitig 8 Werten Mi.-Nr. VO47d mit Stempel "DAR-ES-SALAAM KDPAg", "MARANGU" auf Privat-GSK, fehlerhafte Karte aus Songea 1905 mit Postweg über Chinde mit Währungsmischfrankatur und Bedarfs-GSK aus Wugiri nach Kiautschou. Dazu guter Teil Bahnpost-Stempel und Kriegspost mit Zensur-Briefen und zwei Feldpostbriefe (gelocht) mit Feldpoststempel "No.1" und "No.3". Alles auf selbst gestalteten Albenblättern mit Beschriftung
1901/1915 Cancellation study on stamps, pieces, postcards and covers, presented upon sixteen pages, including Railway postmarks, noted a 1916 stampless cover with Usambara railway mark sent from Fieldpost, also very fine examples of the Mohorro datestamp on piece and a picture postcard, a 1904 postcard sent from Daressalam to Konia, Turkey, with Suez datestamp, many other local cancels such as Bukoba, Kilossa, Lindi, Ujiji, Tabora, Moshchi, Pangani on single stamps, condition is mixed, an interesting group with many scarce postmarks and several rare examples.
