1866/1957, used collection with stamps and covers, presented within two large albums, a stockbook and a small file, comprising a study from Turkish Provinces through to modern commemorative issues, includes scarcer early usages such as 5 pi. rose used on 1866 cover from Cairo to Alexandria, a 2 pi. blue used on 1870 wrapper to Cairo, noted a very attractive registered 1879 envelope franked with a vertical pair of 1 pi. rose, also a selection of Austrian, French, British and Italian Foreign Post Offices in Egypt, strong assortment of Aerial Post/Air Mail, with Zeppelin covers, some express mail, postal stationery, censored mail and postage dues, many complete used sets; a reasonably comprehensive assembly in mostly fine condition.
1866/1995 mint and unused collection comprising four albums, one stock book and a box file, presented as a study from the Turkish Provinces, including imperforate die proofs on white paper of the eight values, through to modern commemoratives stamps, predominately singles, although features multiples and larger blocks complimenting part or complete sets, a selection of King Fuad imperforate card proofs, 1933 Air Mail to 30 mi. in imperforate proof pairs, King Faruk perforation varieties, as well as control blocks, Scout souvenir sheets, etc. A vast assembly in mainly fine to prestine condition.
