"SAN-JUAN-PORTO-RICO DE 14 1857" on reverse, red circle "PD" applied by mistake, cancelled by fingerprint and corrected with red "PP", transit and arrival cds.; a fine, scarce and unusal cover

1841, entire letter from Calcutta to Bordeaux, showing on reverse framed red "STEAM POSTAGE/INLAND Do./TOTAL" with manuscript "9-14- 1/7"
