1853, Napoleon 80 c. and 20 c. (applied with missing corner), tied to lettersheet from "LA BASTIDE 6 FEV. 60" to Frederikshall, Norway. A register handstamp next to the franking overstamped with boxed "AFFRANCHISSEMENT INSUFFISANT". The franking was not accepted and upon arrival the letter was taxed with "26" skilling. On front transit mark "SVINESUND 15 2 1860". An interesting letter with unusual destination.

1855, Pedro 25 r. blue, cut to shape, tied by barred "42" with adjacent straight-line "SETUBAL" to entire letter, written on board the ship 'Witch' 1855 to Skien, Norway, part paid to the French border and taxed with "26" skilling upon arrival. On front transit mark "SANDOSUND 11/6". A rare early franked cover to Scandinavia.

50 k. on 3 k. imperforate, horizontal pair tied by cds. “OMSK 5- 8 19” repeated alongside to envelope to Norway, censored by the military, reverse arrival cds. “CHRISTIANA 13 X 19”, faint vertical archival fold, very fine and scarce

1858/72, coat of arms 12 o., tied by clear "STOCKHOLM 7/10 1868" to underpaid envelope to Christiania, Norway, with adjacent "OTTILR:FRANCO" and taxed with "3" skilling.

½ Gr. orange, zwei waagerechte Paare und Einzelmarke je mit EKr. “BREMEN 8.9.73” als tarifgerechte Mehrfachfrankatur auf Faltbriefhülle nach Christiansand, Norwegen. Das linke Markenpaar mit Zahnverkürzungen oben, ansonsten sind die farbfrischen Marken gut geprägt und üblich gezähnt, in einwandfreier Erhaltung. Eine nicht häufige Mehrfachfrankatur mit Destination Norwegen, Fotoattest Sommer BPP (1992)

½ Gr. orange und waagerechtes Paar 1 Gr. karmin je mit EKr. “HAMBURG P.V.2 4.7.73” als tarifgerechte Frankatur auf kpl. Faltbrief bis 15 g mit rückseitigem Auswechslungsstempel “HMRFST C. HMBRG 5.7.1873” nach Christianssund, Norwegen. Der seltene Auswechslungsstempel wurde rückseitig auf dem letzten Brief des auszutauschenden Briefbündels aufgesetzt. Die rechte 1 Gr.-Marke hat einen kurzen Zahn, ansonsten sind alle farbfrischen Marken gut geprägt, gut gezähnt und in einwandfreier Erhaltung, Fotoattest Krug BPP (2024)

1874, unfrankierter, kpl. Faltbrief von “ANVERS 19.JUIN.74” mit Ra1 “NON AFFRANCHI” via Preußen mit Ra1 “Porto” nach Christansund, Norwegen mit Rötel-Taxe “18” (Skilling) und Ankunftsstempel, in guter Erhaltung
